La Chapiniere Touraine Sauvignon, 2022

Grilled pineapple, spiced mango. Soft & juicy palate with summer peach, lemon zest and gentle minerality. Pretty, soft, well-structured with hints of kiwi. From the Touraine in the Loire Valle, where Sauvignon Blanc presents friendly, fresh and smooth. Produced by Baudry-Dutour, a duo of winemakers and friends, Christophe Baudry who runs Domaine de la Perriere as 6th generation and Jean-Martin Dutour who manages a neighboring estate, Domaine du Roncée. This is a new project since 2020 when they headed east and took over several plots around Noyers-sur-Cher to bring together a vineyard dedicated to Sauvignon Blanc.
